DIOR Hypnotic Poison Eau de Toilette

Bitter almond. Jasmine. Vanilla. Warm, creamy, unmistakable.

01

What does Hypnotic Poison EDT smell like?

The first thing to notice is almond, not sugar. Bitter almond gives the fragrance an edge that keeps the later vanilla from becoming one-dimensional. Jasmine sambac rounds the middle, and vanilla becomes increasingly warm, creamy, and softly spicy as it settles.

Think deep red velvet: genuinely soft, but with shadow and tension underneath.

03

Key scent cues

This is an almond-vanilla fragrance with clear warmth and presence, not a sheer skin scent.

Who may love it

Someone who loves vanilla but wants a more distinctive almond signature, someone who enjoys gourmand warmth without wanting only sugar, or someone adding a warmer and more expressive role to a scent wardrobe.

05

When to wear it

Fall · Winter · Evening · Dinner · Date night · Holiday season · Cool-weather travel. It feels especially comfortable once the air cools and you want your fragrance to bring some warmth of its own.

06

What it is not

It is not a fresh daytime citrus, and not the same thing as Hypnotic Poison Eau de Parfum.

07

Why we like it at Vial Note

It gives a vanilla lover something more memorable than simple sweetness. The almond signature makes it easy to recognize after one wearing.
